My passion for horticulture escalated while working in a magical secluded garden centre called East of Eliza on Gerrard St. in Toronto. I had a basic foundation of plant knowledge which allowed me to differentiate between annuals and perennials and typical plant names, but I didn't know how little I really knew. Each week I wrote down a list of plants that came into the garden centre which I felt I needed to know more about. This blog is a space that I use kind of like a sketch book and is instrumental to my evolving passion for horticulture.
Also known as the 'Chinese Trumpet Flower' Blooms in late spring, to early summer. Pinch back for more blooms. Full sun to part shade. Normal to sandy soil, moderate watering, 40-60 cm in height
